I believe we should give credit where credit is due. My passionate journey into the world of sleep consultancy began with the birth of my firstborn daughter, Abby.
Abby was and still is, my spitfire child - the “alert” baby, the early achiever, the one who didn’t want to miss out on anything, and the one who fought sleep.
Her refusal to settle down for sleep brought me to my breaking point and pushed me to reach out for help. Through education and support, sleep went from a dreaded battle to easy peasy lemon squeezy.
We BOTH became happier and enjoyed each other's company much more now that neither of us was sleep-deprived. Having experienced firsthand the impact of sleep challenges in my own life ignited a deep passion for sleep advocacy and highlighted its significant impact on overall well-being.
With the arrival of my second daughter - little miss Emily, my marshmallow, I encountered a different sleep dynamic. She was naturally a good sleeper. I had a ton of knowledge about sleep by this time, but she taught me the beauty of co-sleeping and flexibility.
While Abby ignited my passion for sleep education, Emily further inspired my dedication. I pursued further education in holistic sleep practices, allowing me to adopt a more responsive approach in supporting families.
Raising two girls with distinct sleep personalities taught me the importance of embracing individualized sleep solutions, because I promise you, you will get one of each and I paid my dues with my first - haha. I believe in sleep approaches that match each child’s unique needs, rather than trying a one-size-fits-all model.
Sleep isn’t just essential for physical health, it impacts your mental well-being too. There isn’t a single formula for achieving restful nights - it’s about finding an approach that feels right for you and your family. If you’re struggling with sleep challenges and seeking guidance, I’d be honoured to help you get some sleep back into your lives.
